Fast tempo offenses also work well in CUT 26 Coins situations where crowd noise or other gameplay mechanics make adjustments difficult. By using simple, reliable plays, you can maintain offensive momentum and keep the defense on its heels.
Master the Art of Reading the Field
Reading the defense effectively is one of the biggest skill gaps in the game. The best quarterbacks don't just look at receivers-they read areas of the field and anticipate where openings will appear.
Before the snap, identify your quickest-developing route. This might be a drag route or a short flat that becomes available almost immediately. If the defense leaves that area uncovered, you can deliver a quick pass for easy yardage.
From there, move through your progression. For example, you might first check the short route, then look at an intermediate comeback route, and finally scan for deeper options.
If none of the routes appear open, don't force the throw. Throwing the ball away or moving to the next read is far better than risking an interception.
Developing this habit of scanning the field and recognizing coverage gaps can dramatically improve your passing efficiency.
Use Audibles to Keep Defenses Guessing
Top players frequently use audibles to change plays at the line of scrimmage. Starting in one formation and quickly switching to another can create confusion for the defense.
For instance, you might line up in a pass-heavy formation and then audible into a strong running play. Because the defense initially prepares for a pass, they may be caught out of position when the run begins.
The key is not to be audible randomly. Instead, choose three or four formations that you know well and practice a few reliable plays from each. This gives you multiple options without overwhelming yourself.
Another important rule is that audibles only work between formations that use the same personnel grouping. Understanding this limitation will help you plan your playbook more effectively.
When used strategically, audibles can keep opponents guessing and prevent them from predicting your play calls.
Understand Proper Route Spacing
Route spacing is one of the most overlooked aspects of offensive design, yet it plays a major role in creating open receivers.
There are two main spacing principles to follow:
Vertical spacing (high-low concepts): Routes should be separated by roughly 10 yards vertically. This forces defenders to choose between covering the deeper route or the shorter one.
Horizontal spacing: When routes move across the field from left to right, they should have at least five yards of separation to avoid defenders covering both routes simultaneously.
For example, a drag route paired with a corner route creates strong vertical spacing. Meanwhile, combining a drag with an in-route can create effective horizontal spacing.
If routes are too close together, a single defender can shut down both options. Proper spacing ensures that defenders must commit to one receiver, leaving another open.
Final Thoughts
Improving your offense in EA Sports College Football 26 comes down to mastering a few essential concepts. Short passing schemes like "baby dots," dependable run plays, and fast-tempo pass calls all contribute to a more efficient attack. Pair those strategies with smart reads, well-timed audibles, and proper route spacing, and your offense will become significantly harder to stop.
By applying these techniques consistently, you'll move the ball more effectively, score more touchdowns, and ultimately win more games. Having enough CUT 26 Coins can also be very helpful.
College Football 26: The Ultimate Route Combo for Huge Passing Plays
Passing effectively in EA Sports College Football 26 often comes down to using the right route combinations. While many players rely on basic concepts like slants or mesh routes, there is one particular setup that stands out as one of the most explosive passing schemes in the game. When used correctly, this route combination can dramatically increase your passing production and create big-play opportunities against almost any defensive coverage. Having enough cheap CUT 26 Coins can also be very helpful.
This powerful concept is built from the Gun Bunch X Nasty formation and works especially well in the Oregon State playbook. The base play you'll want to select is Mesh Traffic, which contains a unique running back route that becomes the key to unlocking the entire concept.
Why This Route Combo Is So Effective
The strength of this setup lies in how it attacks multiple areas of the field simultaneously. Instead of relying on a single receiver to win a matchup, the play spreads defenders thin by forcing them to cover vertical threats, sideline routes, and quick flats at the same time.
Here's the basic setup:
Put the outside left receiver on a return route.
Change the tight end to a post route.
Put the slot receiver on a streak.
Adjust the outside bunch receiver to a corner route, then stem it downward.
With these adjustments in place, the formation becomes extremely difficult for defenses to cover.
However, the real star of the play is the running back route. Instead of running a typical flat route toward the single-receiver side, the running back quickly crosses the formation toward the bunch side. This creates an unusual angle that defenders rarely pick up quickly, leaving a consistent short-yardage option.
Beating Cover 4 Match Defenses
Many players rely on Cover 4 match defenses because they adapt to routes and attempt to neutralize vertical threats. However, this route combo creates confusion in the coverage responsibilities.
When facing Cover 4 quarters, the slot receiver often ends up isolated against a safety. Because of the spacing created by the other routes, the safety must protect the inside leverage. That leaves space along the outside shoulder of the receiver.
If you lead the throw away from the defender, the streak route can turn into a one-play touchdown. While it might look covered at first glance, proper ball placement creates a window that experienced players can exploit.
The corner route also remains a viable option. If the defense reacts aggressively to the streak, the corner route can break open near the sideline for a large gain.
Attacking Cover 6 and Cover 9
Combo coverages like Cover 6 and Cover 9 attempt to mix zone concepts with match principles. Many defensive players switch to these schemes specifically to cheap NCAA Football 26 Coins defend bunch formations.
Run-pass options can be frustrating if you don't know how to CUT 26 Coins defend them. A simple adjustment can shut them down completely.
Take your safety and position him just outside the hard flat defender. This forces the blocking assignment toward the safety, leaving your flat defender free to cover the quick pass option. It's a small tweak that makes a huge difference.
Stop Exploits Like RPO Glitches
Against more advanced players, you'll encounter glitch plays like the RPO freeze. One of the most reliable counters is using a Double Mug formation with a Cover 2 shell.
Call Mid Blitz, hover your linebacker over the center, and adjust your coverage by hard-flattening the outside corner and manning up the tight end. This setup sends immediate pressure while covering quick throws, effectively shutting down the exploit.
Master User Lock and D-Pad Switching
Advanced defensive control comes from mastering user mechanics. User locking allows you to engage the offensive line at the snap while still transitioning into coverage.
However, to avoid getting stuck, combine this with D-pad switching. This lets you instantly switch to another defender mid-play, giving you the flexibility to cover routes or apply pressure as needed. If you have controller paddles, mapping these inputs can make the process even faster and more seamless.
Use 10-Yard Flats for Better Coverage Balance
Flat zones are often a weak point in many defenses, especially against layered route concepts. Setting your flats to 10 yards creates a perfect balance.
These zones initially defend deeper routes like corner patterns, then quickly react to shorter routes such as drags and flats. This disrupts the offense's timing and forces hesitation, often leading to sacks or poor throws.
Final Thoughts
Defense in College Football 26 is all about precision, awareness, and mastering hidden mechanics. From gap shooting and tackling settings to advanced coverage adjustments and user control techniques, each of these secrets adds another layer to your game.
Individually, these tips are powerful-but when combined, they create a defensive system capable of shutting down even the most meta offenses. If you commit to learning and applying these strategies, you'll quickly notice a dramatic improvement in your ability to control games and dominate online competition.
Mastering defensive adjustments in College Football 26 can completely transform how you play the game. What might start as a basic, static defense can quickly evolve into a dynamic, unpredictable unit capable of shutting down even the most creative offenses. By understanding the full range of defensive tools available, you can react faster, disguise coverages, and control the pace of every snap.
Understanding Coaching Adjustments
The foundation of defensive control begins in the coaching adjustments menu. With a simple click of the right stick before the snap, you gain access to global settings that shape how your entire defense behaves. Options like auto-flip help align your defense with the offensive strength, which is especially useful for newer players. More advanced users may prefer to turn this off for greater manual control. Other settings, such as option keys and RPO responsibilities, determine how your defenders react to modern offensive concepts. Choosing conservative or aggressive responses here can dramatically impact your ability to stop read options and quick passes.
Mastering Zone Drops and Safety Settings
Zone drops are another critical feature in this menu. These allow you to define exactly how deep certain zone defenders will play. For example, setting hook curls to 5 yards creates tight underneath coverage, while pushing them to 20 or 30 yards helps defend deeper routes like corners and crossers. Combined with safety depth and width adjustments, you can fine-tune your defensive spacing depending on field position, especially in the red zone.
Choosing the Right Formation and Shell
Once you move to the formation screen, things become even more strategic. Formations like Nickel are popular because they balance run defense and pass coverage effectively. From here, you can also adjust your "shell," which determines how your defense appears before the snap. This is one of the most powerful tools for deception. For instance, you can show a Cover 2 look while actually running Cover 3 or Cover 6. This forces your opponent to make incorrect reads, giving you a significant advantage.
Using Global Defensive Adjustments
After the snap-or just before it-controller-based adjustments become essential. Each button opens a different menu, allowing you to make quick, layered changes. The right bumper controls global adjustments like guessing pass, committing to a run direction, or showing blitz. Guessing pass in obvious passing situations can improve both coverage reactions and pass rush effectiveness. QB contain is another key adjustment here, helping prevent mobile quarterbacks from escaping the pocket.
Adjusting the Defensive Line and Linebackers
The D-pad controls positional groups. Pressing left opens defensive line adjustments, where you can shift or slant your line to counter expected runs. Pinching the line can clog inside runs, while spreading helps contain outside plays. You can also apply line stunts, adding movement and confusion to your pass rush.
Pressing right on the D-pad brings up linebacker controls. Similar to the defensive line, you can shift their alignment or change assignments. Linebackers can be blitzed, dropped into zones, or assigned to specific coverage roles like hook curls or hard flats. Hard flats are especially useful for defending short routes near the line of scrimmage, while hook curls cover the intermediate middle.
Fine-Tuning Defensive Back Coverage
Defensive backs are adjusted using the triangle (or Y) button, and this is where coverage truly comes alive. You can press or back off receivers, shade coverage inside or outside, and adjust positioning over the top or underneath. Shading underneath turns flat zones into aggressive hard flats and makes defenders play tighter to short routes. Shading over the top, on the other hand, helps protect against deep passes but affects zones differently depending on their type.
Leveraging Individual Adjustments and Advanced Techniques
One of the most advanced and important mechanics is individual adjustments. By double-tapping the appropriate button, you can select specific players and assign them unique roles. This allows for rapid customization without manually controlling each defender. For example, you can turn a safety into a deep half defender, assign a cornerback to a hard flat, or man up a linebacker on a tight end-all within seconds.
Different position groups offer unique adjustment options. Outside corners can play deep thirds, cloud flats, or even blitz. Safeties excel in deep coverage roles like halves and quarters, making them essential for stopping vertical threats. Slot defenders and outside linebackers can run specialized zones like vertical hooks, which are excellent against seam routes, or execute bluff blitzes to buy College Football 26 Coins confuse the offense.
You can have hundreds of RuneScape gold kills at one boss and still feel completely lost when you try a new one. Your stats are higher. Your gear is better. You've watched the guide. And yet somehow, it feels like you've never played RuneScape before.
That doesn't mean you're bad.
It means you learned a boss, not PvM. Having a lot of RuneScape gold can be very helpful.
A lot of players approach PvM like learning songs on a guitar. You memorize the notes for one track. Then another. Then another. You can perform each one individually, but if someone hands you the instrument and asks you to improvise, you freeze.
Boss guides teach you where to stand, when to eat, what to pray, and what kills you if you mess up. That works perfectly - for that boss. But when mechanics shift, the script disappears. New boss. New 20-minute guide. Repeat.
Real PvM skill isn't a collection of memorized encounters. It's understanding the system underneath all of them.
And that system runs on two things: ticks and tiles.
Everything Happens on a Tick
RuneScape does not register your clicks instantly. The game updates every 0.6 seconds. That interval is called a game tick.
You can click whenever you want - but your action only begins on the next tick. If something feels delayed, you're not lagging. You just clicked halfway through a cycle and had to wait.
Every action works this way:
Attacking
Eating
Switching gear
Turning on prayers
Moving
They all queue and execute on ticks.
Here's the first key principle:
Click once with purpose.
Spam clicking doesn't make actions faster. It just creates messy inputs and panic. Clean, deliberate clicks aligned with ticks give you control.
Once you understand ticks, weapon speed suddenly makes sense. A whip attacks every four ticks. A blowpipe every three. Godswords are slower. That's why high max-hit weapons can deal less damage over time - their attack cycle is longer.
And here's something many players don't realize: if you switch weapons mid-cycle, you still have to wait for the previous weapon's delay to finish before attacking again. Switching targets doesn't reset that timer either.
Ticks govern everything.
Prayers: Timing Beats Speed
Protection prayers are one of the strongest mechanics in the game. But mastering them isn't about speed - it's about timing.
When you activate a prayer, it becomes effective on the next tick. That's practically instant. The real question is: when does the boss calculate damage?
Older monsters usually roll damage when their attack animation begins. More modern bosses often roll damage when the hitsplat appears. Some give you time to react to projectiles mid-air.
That inconsistency is part of the learning curve.
Here's the second key principle:
Have the right prayer up at the right time.
Not early. Not late. On the tick that matters.
Once you start recognizing boss rhythm - the cadence of attacks - prayer switching feels less like panic and more like music. Even when attack styles change randomly, there's still a tempo to follow.
The Grid Changes Everything
RuneScape is tile-based. You aren't moving freely - you're stepping across a grid.
Walking moves you one tile per tick. Running moves you two.
That difference matters more than most people realize.
Many mechanics check your position once per tick. If you run two tiles in one tick, you can skip over damaging floor tiles, lightning, poison, or wave attacks. That's why experienced players seem to "ghost" through hazards.
But this cuts both ways.
Movement happens on the tick after you click. If you react too late, the damage check has already happened.
The real PvM skill is pre-movement - stepping onto a safe tile before danger resolves, not after it appears.
Short, deliberate clicks give you control. Long-distance clicks hand control to RuneScape's pathing system, which will happily drag you through danger if it thinks that's the shortest route.
Here's the third key principle:
Don't stand in the bad.
It sounds simple. But understanding how ticks and tiles interact is what lets you actually avoid the bad.
There's another layer to this: your character model is not your true tile. The game registers you slightly ahead of where your avatar appears. Plugins that show your true tile make this clear. Once you see it, movement starts to feel predictable instead of mysterious.
Eating Without Losing Control
Eating also follows the tick rules.
Most food delays your next attack. That's why panic-eating feels clunky - you're pushing your damage cycle back.
Combo eating works because certain foods and potions can be consumed on the same tick. Skilled players can stack multiple heals instantly instead of stretching them across many ticks.
But efficiency comes later.
Early on, it's better to eat inefficiently than to die trying to optimize.
You can't deal damage if you're dead.
Clean Switches Beat Big Switches
Gear switching isn't about speed. It's about organization.
If all your switches happen on the same tick, you lose no damage. If they spill into the next tick, your attack gets delayed.
Here's the fourth key principle:
Some damage is better than no damage.
The most important switch is your weapon. If you're overwhelmed, switch the weapon first and get back on the boss. Armor and prayer boosts are valuable - but staying in the cycle matters more.
When learning, keep switches small. Four-way switches are a strong baseline. Forcing eight-way switches too early leads to panic, missed hits, and deaths.
Organize your inventory consistently. Arrange gear so your mouse moves in cheap RS gold a smooth pattern - straight lines, Z-shapes, whatever feels natural. Fewer mouse movements mean fewer mistakes.
Mining remains one of the most classic gathering skills in Old School RuneScape. With just a pickaxe and some patience, players can gather ores and minerals used for Smithing, Crafting, and other skills. While Mining used to be a strong money maker, modern PvM drops have reduced its profitability for main accounts. However, it remains extremely valuable for Ironman players who rely on gathering their own resources. Having enough RuneScape gold can be a great help to you.
In this guide, we'll walk through the best methods to train Mining from level 1 to 99 in 2026, including AFK training, faster methods, and the most efficient routes to reach max level.
Skipping the Slow Early Levels
Early Mining levels are notoriously slow. Because of this, the best way to begin training is actually through questing rather than traditional mining.
Several early quests provide significant Mining experience and allow players to skip the painful low levels. Before starting them, you should prepare a few basic requirements:
Level 5 Thieving (pickpocketing men and women)
Level 25 Thieving from cake stalls in Ardougne
Level 10 Herblore via the Druidic Ritual quest and making attack potions
Level 10 Agility from early quests or rooftop courses
These small requirements unlock some important quests that give large Mining experience rewards.
Questing to Level 33 Mining
The first key quest is Plague City, located in Ardougne. Completing this quest instantly boosts your Mining level from 1 to around 15, saving a lot of early grinding.
Next, travel to the Dwarven Mine north of Falador and collect the materials needed for Doric's Quest:
6 Clay
4 Copper Ore
2 Iron Ore
Once completed, Doric's Quest will raise your Mining level to about 18.
The final quest for early training is The Dig Site, which requires the skills mentioned earlier. Completing this quest rewards a massive 15,300 Mining experience, bringing your level all the way up to 33 Mining.
This questing route is widely considered the best way to skip the slowest part of the skill.
Alternative Early Mining (Levels 1–30)
If you prefer traditional training instead of quests, you can start mining basic ores:
Levels 1–15: Mine Tin and Copper
Levels 15–30: Mine Iron Ore
A newer method introduced in recent updates is mining lead in the Pandemonium caves. This method offers a slightly better experience than iron while allowing players to bank their resources nearby for a small profit.
Once you reach level 30, the early game is essentially complete, and better training options become available.
Essential Mining Equipment
Before diving into training methods, there are several important items that significantly improve Mining efficiency:
Pickaxes – Higher-tier pickaxes mine faster. Dragon, Crystal, and Third Age pickaxes also provide special attacks that temporarily boost Mining levels.
Celestial Ring – Obtained from Shooting Stars, this ring gives an invisible Mining boost and occasionally grants extra resources.
Prospector Outfit – Earned at the Motherlode Mine, wearing the full set provides a 2.5% Mining experience bonus.
Varrock Armor – From the Varrock Diary, this armor can occasionally double ore when mining.
Expert Mining Gloves – These prevent certain rocks from depleting immediately, allowing longer mining sessions.
Together, these items greatly improve both experience rates and resource gathering.
Low-Intensity (AFK) Mining Methods
For players who prefer relaxed training, several AFK methods provide steady experience with minimal effort.
Motherlode Mine (Level 30+)
The Motherlode Mine in the Dwarven Mines is one of the most popular Mining training methods.
Players mine ore veins for Pay-dirt, deposit it in a hopper, and collect processed ores later. While experience rates are moderate, the method provides useful resources and gold nuggets used to unlock upgrades and the Prospector outfit.
Many players train here from level 30 all the way to 99 due to its relaxed gameplay.
Shooting Stars
Shooting stars is another extremely AFK activity. When a star lands in Gielinor, players can mine it for several minutes with almost no interaction.
This method offers roughly 20,000 XP per hour, but it rewards Stardust, which can be traded for useful items, including the Celestial Ring.
Shooting Stars are particularly popular for mobile players.
Calcified Rocks
Unlocked after the Perilous Moons quest, this method takes place in Cam Torum. Players mine walls for calcified deposits and bone shards, which can later be processed for Prayer experience.
This hybrid method provides both Mining and Prayer training while maintaining relatively low intensity.
Amethyst Mining (Level 92+)
At level 92 Mining, players unlock Amethyst in the Mining Guild.
This method offers around 20–25k XP per hour, but it produces valuable resources used to craft high-tier ammunition. It's a relaxed training option for players approaching level 99.
Medium-Intensity Mining Methods
These methods require slightly more attention but provide better experience rates.
Power Mining Iron
Mining iron ore is a classic training method. Players mine iron and immediately drop it to maximize experience.
In the Mining Guild, iron rocks respawn quickly, allowing players to rotate between three rocks for efficient training.
Gem Rocks (Shilo Village)
Gem rocks are another mid-level method. Players mine rocks that yield various gems used for Crafting.
Wearing an Amulet of Glory increases the chance of receiving gems, and the Gem Bag can help store them efficiently.
Sandstone Mining
At the Desert Quarry, players can mine sandstone for buckets of sand used in Crafting training. This method is particularly valuable for Ironman accounts that need large quantities of sand.
Experience rates can reach around 50k XP per hour.
High-Intensity Mining Methods
Players looking for the fastest experience rates will need more click-intensive training.
Blast Mine
Located in Lovakengj, the Blast Mine uses dynamite to OSRS gold break rocks and gather ores. This method allows players to obtain higher-level ores earlier than usual.
This Woodcutting method requires high-level access but offers around 10,000 XP per hour with minimal interaction. It also provides moderate profit, making it a decent option for RuneScape gold relaxed gameplay.
Sailing Salvaging
One of the best 30-minute AFK methods currently available. With a properly set-up crew, your ship gathers resources automatically while you do nothing. At higher levels, this method can exceed 30,000 Sailing XP per hour, making it the most rewarding fully AFK option.
Blast Furnace Pumping
This is a niche but useful method for training Strength without gaining Hitpoints XP. As long as other players keep the furnace running, you can remain AFK for extended periods while gaining passive experience.
Low-Intensity Mobile Training
Not every method needs to be fully AFK. Many low-intensity activities work extremely well on mobile thanks to simplified controls.
Runecrafting Methods
Zeah Runecrafting is a standout option. It removes the need for constant banking, making it far easier to manage on a small screen. Similarly, mining Daeyalt essence adds an AFK component to Runecrafting preparation, making it ideal for mobile play.
Sailing Construction
New Sailing-related training methods, such as crafting repair kits, offer short AFK intervals with decent XP. These are especially useful for players who want a more relaxed alternative to traditional Construction training.
Woodcutting Updates
New tree types like rosewood, ironwood, and camphor provide long AFK intervals similar to redwoods and magic trees. These are excellent choices for mobile players who want steady progress with minimal input.
Hunter Training
Maniacal Monkeys are one of the best mobile-friendly Hunter methods. With AFK intervals of up to a minute, they provide a good balance of XP and convenience.
Bankstanding Skills on Mobile
Bankstanding skills are naturally suited for mobile due to their repetitive and low-intensity nature.
Cooking is one of the easiest skills to train on mobile and can even be profitable depending on the food.
Firemaking with bonfires allows for over two minutes of AFK time per inventory while maintaining solid XP rates.
Crafting and Herblore also work well, especially when using "withdraw X" or "withdraw all" settings for smoother training.
While these methods may not be faster than PC, their simplicity makes them perfect for playing on the go.
AFK Combat Training
Combat is generally more demanding, but there are still several excellent AFK options for mobile players.
Bandits
Bandits remain one of the best AFK combat methods. By wearing the correct gear, you can stay in combat for up to 20 minutes without interaction. Resetting the timer is as simple as tapping the screen.
Nightmare Zone
Nightmare Zone offers strong XP rates using overloads and absorption potions. However, it requires more setup and resets, making it slightly less convenient for short mobile sessions.
Splashing & Kraken
Splashing is one of OSRS gold the most AFK combat methods, allowing up to 20 minutes of inactivity. A more advanced variation involves attacking Kraken while it's submerged, which still grants Magic XP. This method can reach extremely high XP rates while requiring very low effort.
Shadow-based builds, particularly those using Shadow Cascade or Shadow Rend, have received significant buffs. These builds show strong theoretical potential, but their real performance depends on how they feel in Last Epoch gold practice.
They may rise in popularity as players refine their mechanics and optimize gameplay.
Fire Aura Spellblade - A Long-Awaited Buff
The Fire Aura Spellblade finally becomes viable thanks to improved scaling mechanics.
By stacking resistances and converting damage types, players can achieve:
High sustained damage
Strong defensive scaling
Continuous area damage
Although it may not match the burst potential of top-tier builds, it offers a unique and satisfying playstyle with excellent clear capabilities.
Final Thoughts
Season 4 of Last Epoch delivers a mix of stability and innovation. While the top meta builds remain largely unchanged, new options provide exciting alternatives for players looking to try something different.
S-Tier builds still dominate by a large margin
Minion and Warlock builds remain highly competitive
New builds offer fresh gameplay but may require testing
Ultimately, the best choice depends on your preferred playstyle. Whether you want to spin endlessly with Warpath, command powerful minions, or experiment with new mechanics, Season 4 offers something for everyone.
Last Epoch Season 4: Fastest XP Farming Guide to Level Up Quickly
Reaching level 100 quickly in Last Epoch Season 4 doesn't have to mean endless grinding. With the right strategies, efficient routing, and smart use of game systems, players can dramatically accelerate their experience gain and cut down hours of leveling time. This guide breaks down the most effective methods-from early-game fundamentals to advanced endgame farming techniques-so every run contributes maximum XP.
Master the Basics of Efficient Leveling
The foundation of fast leveling lies in understanding how experience scaling works. To gain optimal XP, characters should primarily fight enemies in areas above their level. The game allows up to a 10-level gap below an area while still granting maximum bonus experience. However, pushing beyond that threshold offers no additional benefit.
This means that if a character is strong enough, progressing into higher-level zones is key. On the flip side, fighting enemies at or below your level significantly reduces XP efficiency. In those cases, it's better to move quickly through the area rather than wasting time clearing low-value mobs.
Target prioritization also matters. Magic and rare enemies provide significantly more experience than standard enemies, with rares offering the highest returns. Focusing on these targets ensures every encounter contributes meaningfully to leveling progress.
Speed and Damage: The Core of Fast Progression
Clear speed is everything. The faster enemies are defeated, the faster experience is gained. During the campaign and early endgame, survivability is rarely a limiting factor, so prioritizing mobility and damage is the optimal approach.
Invest in:
Movement speed to traverse zones quickly
High-damage, area-of-effect skills to clear packs efficiently
Offensive passives that enhance burst and clearing potential
Equipping movement-focused gear can make a massive difference. For example, stacking movement speed through rings and boots can push total speed close to-or even above-100% during leveling. This allows rapid zone traversal and faster engagement with high-value enemies.
Take Advantage of Shrines
Shrines are an often-overlooked but powerful leveling tool. They provide temporary buffs that significantly increase damage, speed, or other combat capabilities. Among them, the Experience Shrine is the most valuable.
When encountering an Experience Shrine:
Immediately seek out dense enemy packs
Focus on magic and rare enemies for maximum gain
Clear as aggressively as possible during the buff duration
Proper shrine usage can result in massive bursts of XP in a short time.
Endgame Strategy: Monolith XP Farming
Once the Monolith of Fate is unlocked, leveling efficiency can skyrocket with the right approach. The key is to focus on Echoes that reward experience tomes. These rewards provide far more XP than standard enemy kills.
To optimize this method:
Select Echoes that specifically grant XP rewards
Complete only the main objective to finish quickly
Chain Echoes efficiently to minimize downtime
This loop allows rapid experience accumulation without unnecessary combat.
Optimize the Weaver Tree
After unlocking the Woven faction through the Cemetery of the Erased, players gain access to the Weaver Tree-a powerful tool for customizing Echo rewards.
To maximize XP gains:
Allocate points to block unwanted rewards like Last Epoch gold, glyphs, and arena keys
Avoid blocking XP rewards
Increase the chance of Echo reward duplication (up to 20%)
This setup significantly boosts the frequency and value of experience rewards, making every run more efficient.
Secure the XP Blessing
In the Fall of the Outcasts timeline, defeating the boss-Abomination-grants access to powerful blessings. One of the most important for leveling is the increased experience blessing.
This bonus applies globally and scales with Last Epoch gold for sale the roll obtained, making it a crucial multiplier for all future XP gains. Securing a strong version early greatly enhances long-term progression.
Hey everyone! Today, we're diving into the Void Knight Devouring Orb Autobomber build, which has been an absolute blast to play, especially for farming and running monoliths in Last Epoch. This build is all about using Devouring Orbs to clear massive amounts of enemies effortlessly, and it's great for both single-target and screen-wide damage. If you're looking for an easy way to clear corruption and deal crazy amounts of damage, this is definitely the build for you! A large amount of Last Epoch gold can be of great help to you.
Let's get into how it works and the gear required to make this build shine.
How the Build Works
The core of this build revolves around the Devouring Orbs. These orbs are unique because they automatically apply a damage-over-time (DoT) effect that spreads between enemies. The more you move, the more orbs spawn, and they deal significant Void damage to everything they touch. When you run through packs of enemies, the orbs shoot out projectiles that hit multiple targets at once, causing chain reactions of DoT damage. It's incredibly satisfying to watch enemies get nuked from every direction as you run through the map.
In the video below, you'll see the build in action during a 200 corruption monolith, and trust me, it's absolutely insane. The damage output is off the charts, and it's incredibly fun to watch all the enemies disintegrate under the power of the orbs.
Gear for the Build
Let's go over the key gear pieces you'll want to focus on to make the Devouring Orb Void Knight build work efficiently.
1. Forgotten Knight Set
Why It's Important: This set is crucial for this build as it provides Void penetration and 3% more Void damage per stack of Time Rot. We always want 12 stacks of Time Rot active, ensuring we get the maximum benefit.
2. Weapon: Primordial Exalted Set Item
Stats to Look for: I recommend using a Primordial Exalted weapon with 15% chance to gain haste on hit. This gives you a nice boost to move speed, helping you move around quickly and get more damage out of your orbs. You also want damage-over-time and spell damage rolls on the weapon.
3. Armor and Vitality
Vitality is a key stat for this build because it boosts spell damage for every point you have in it. So, stacking vitality increases your flat spell damage over time, making your orbs hit harder.
Chest: I haven't crafted the best chest piece yet, but a good one should have Void damage over time, health, and vitality.
4. Rings
Coral Rings: Focus on vitality and damage-over-time stats. Corruption can also be used for bonus defensive stats and additional damage boosts.
5. Belt: Orians Descent or Brewmaster
Orians Descent is a good choice for some extra damage and the cool smite effects, but you can also use the Brewmaster belt for added endurance if you want more survivability.
6. Boots
You'll want to focus on move speed, defensive stats, and vitality. Boots with defensive skills can also help with added tankiness.
7. Relics and Idols
Relic: I recommend using Code of the Erased, which boosts damage over time and adds a bit of vitality.
Idols: Aim for increased void damage over time or increased Time Rot chance. A large idol that grants Inspiration on kill is fantastic since it reduces cooldowns and lets you spam orbs faster.
Passive Skill Tree Setup
Sentinel Tree
Vitality and Juggernaut: Max out Vitality and Juggernaut for added tankiness and spell damage.
Smite: Grab Smite to boost your damage output. You don't need to max this node out early; just get the base functionality.
Armor Clad: Take some points in Armor Clad to improve your defense.
Once you've completed these points, shift to the Void Knight tree to unlock the Devouring Orb.
Void Knight Tree
Devouring Orb: Grab this skill early, as it's the backbone of your
damage output. Focus on Void damage over time and Time Rot damage scaling.
Abyssal Rush: Unlock this node to make the orbs auto-cast when you're moving, ensuring you're constantly applying damage while running.
Time Rot Chance: This is huge for your overall damage, especially when combined with the Void skills modifiers from your idols.
From there, take the Time Rot modifiers and increase your damage over time as much as possible. After that, fill in your Void penetration, attack speed, and cast speed nodes to scale your damage further.
Paladin Tree
This tree offers Symbols of Hope and other buffs to boost your defense and damage mitigation, giving you a bit more survivability in tough fights.
Skill Setup
Devouring Orb: This is the core skill of the build. Start by investing in Dark Moon for damage scaling and Abyssal Rush to auto-cast the orb while moving. As you progress, take Time Rot Chance and Eternal Decay for massive damage increases.
Holy Symbol: Use this skill for a passive boost to Void damage and endurance thresholds.
Anomaly: This skill creates a time bubble that significantly boosts your damage multiplier. You'll also gain slow, attack speed, and cast speed buffs from this node, which is essential for maximizing damage output.
Smite: Use Smite for single-target DPS, especially when dealing with bosses or tougher mobs. Max out the Sacrifice node and convert the skill to Void damage.
Final Thoughts
This build is an absolute powerhouse for clearing high-level monoliths and farming endgame content in Last Epoch. The auto-casting Devouring Orbs and Time Rot spread let you clear screen-wide mobs effortlessly, and with the right gear and passive tree setup, you can scale this build to push over 1,000 corruption levels.
If you're wondering whether it can handle tough bosses, the Smite skill offers solid single-target DPS, ensuring that you can take on bosses like Abaroth without any issues.
Monolith Showcase
In the clip, I run through a 200 corruption monolith. As you can see, the auto-spread DoTs from the orbs melt everything in their path. The build is a true walking simulator, where you just move around, let the orbs do the work, and teleport to cheap Last Epoch gold bosses for extra DPS. The damage scaling is impressive, and even at 200 corruption, the build can handle it with ease.
The locked room in the Security Wing requires three batteries to power the door's control system. Next to the door's activation button, you'll see three empty sockets, each meant to ARC Raiders Coins hold a battery.
Your task is to locate these batteries scattered throughout the Security Wing and bring them back to the door.
Common Battery Spawn Locations
While battery spawns can vary slightly between raids, several locations tend to appear more frequently:
Under the staircase in the main lobby of the Security Wing
Mounted on the wall near a breachable door
Various nearby utility areas and storage spots within the wing
Explore the area carefully and keep an eye out for the distinctive battery units. Once you find one, pick it up and carry it back to the locked door.
Because you must transport each battery manually, this part of the quest can take some time. Be cautious while moving through the area, as enemy players or hostile machines could interrupt your progress.
After collecting all three batteries, insert them into the sockets beside the door. Once the final battery is placed, the door's power will activate, allowing you to open the locked room.

In Hardcore WoW Classic, every decision carries weight. A single mistake can erase hours-or even days-of hard-earned progress. That high-stakes nature is what makes the challenge so exhilarating. The ultimate goal: defeat Ragnaros and forge his legendary weapon, Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros. The twist is simple yet brutal-only self-crafted gear and items may be used. No auction house, no looted epics, and no shortcuts. Survival relies solely on professions, preparation, and persistence. Having enough WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Gold can help you a lot.
To achieve this, five separate characters operate together, each specializing in a unique set of professions to support the rest. The journey has already seen setbacks and victories alike. In previous sessions, progress carried the warrior to level 20 and the druid to level 12, unlocking Bear Form. This week's advancement was slower due to outside circumstances, but every bit of it laid crucial groundwork for what's ahead.
Restarting the Warrior and Discovering Engineering
At the close of the last adventure, tragedy struck-Lev, the warrior partner, suffered a major setback and was forced to restart from scratch. The ordeal revealed an unexpected truth: Engineering holds incredible potential in hardcore mode. That realization led to the creation of a new ally-a paladin-who would level alongside Levi and complement the profession structure moving forward.
The long-term strategy took shape quickly. The warrior would become a Weaponsmith, necessary for crafting Sulfuras, while the paladin would specialize as an Armorsmith, allowing full coverage of both blacksmithing paths. Eventually, the warrior would abandon Mining and take up Engineering to access lifesaving gadgets-grenades, reflectors, and other tools critical for survival in a deathless world.
The Paladin's Beginning
Once the paladin was ready, training began immediately. Devotion Aura increased armor for both players, while Battle Shout enhanced their attack power. Despite minimal gear, the duo performed impressively, and early abilities like Judgment and Blessing of Might further amplified their combat effectiveness.
Countless Defias Thugs fell before the pair finally reached level 6 and turned in their first quests in Goldshire. With the basics in place, it was time to leverage alternate characters for support. Supplies-potions, raw materials, and crafting components-were sent over from the warrior, while the priest crafted several Linen Bags to expand inventory space.
Armed with these resources, Blacksmithing training began in earnest. Sharpening Stones, Copper Bracers, and Copper Maces were crafted, though more copper was still needed to advance. The next task was gathering ore, which was then shipped back to the warrior for the creation of a Copper Chain Vest-a much-needed armor upgrade that wasn't yet available to the paladin.
Mining, Leveling, and Early Crafting
Equipped and prepared, the paladin ventured out again, slaying spiders, kobolds, and bears while mining every visible copper vein. Paladin leveling proved surprisingly forgiving, nearly matching a priest's pace in both damage output and sustainability. Pulling two enemies at once rarely resulted in danger thanks to healing, defense, and buffs.
After defeating Goldtooth and retrieving Bernice's Necklace, more quests were turned in, pushing progress to level 8. Returning to Stormwind allowed for spell upgrades and additional blacksmithing, including the crafting of Copper Chain Pants and Copper Gauntlets-finally creating a proper set of armor.
Exploration continued through Elwynn Forest and into Jasperlode Mine, where new quests were accepted. At level 8, the paladin took on Princess, the notorious pig boss. A Furlbrow's Deed dropped from a Defias Bandit just before the fight, a stroke of rare luck that set a positive tone. The Princess encounter ended in victory, showcasing how self-sufficient and durable the class could be even without superior gear.
The Priest's Chapter
After finishing Westfall's quests and reaching level 10, focus shifted to the priest. The goal: reach level 20 to access Deadmines and farm Wool Cloth for improved bags and crafted gear. The mailbox overflowed with green-quality items for disenchanting-ideal for leveling Enchanting efficiently.
The first task was the elite mob Vagash, handled through a few clever positioning tactics. From there, questing continued into Loch Modan, where crafting and tailoring took center stage. At the tailoring station, several upgrades were produced: Reinforced Linen Cape, Heavy Linen Gloves, Soft Linen Boots, and Green Linen Bracers.
The journey continued via the Deeprun Tram to Stormwind for class quests, followed by a return to Ironforge. After reaching Enchanting 70, a Greater Magic Wand was crafted-though it couldn't be equipped until level 13. Once that milestone was hit, the wand became an instant power boost.
Further progress included completing the Blood Sausage and Mining Supplies quests. The grind was lengthy, but another level-up midway made the process smoother.
Obstacles and Perseverance
Not everything went smoothly. A sudden power outage interrupted gameplay deep within Stone Splinter Valley, though thankfully, no character deaths occurred. Once the connection was restored, the trogg quests were completed, and preparation began for the Hogger Raid, a massive community event that drew enormous participation.
Between larger events, the routine grind resumed. More crafting took place, resulting in Soft-Soled Wool Boots, the first Woolen Bag, and Heavy Woolen Gloves. With resources secured, the priest challenged Hogger solo at level 13-and emerged victorious without potions or backup, a testament to solid preparation and effective class play.
Wrapping Up the Week
Following the Hogger encounter, attention returned to Westfall for familiar territory: Harvest Golems, Defias mobs, and low drop-rate quests. Progress was slow but steady, eventually reaching level 15 and nearly level 16.
After one last set of turn-ins in Stormwind, level 16 was achieved-closing out another week of progress in the Hardcore Crafted Locked challenge. Despite a shorter session, key advancements were made: profession setups finalized, crafting chains established, and essential materials gathered for buy WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Gold long-term goals.
If you've played competitive Madden for any amount of time, you know that building a strong defense is key to dominating your opponents. After nearly a decade of experience and a record of 203 wins and just 15 losses with an average of only seven points scored against me, I've figured out the most effective defensive strategies for winning games. In this article, I'll be breaking down the top five defensive coverages you need to master in College Football 26. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting, these tips will help you win more games and get more stops on defense. Having a sufficient supply of CUT 26 Coins can significantly help you improve your win rate.
1. Cover 2 Man: A Must-Have Coverage
Cover 2 Man is essential for any defensive scheme. It's particularly effective when you're facing offenses with strong passing attacks, and it's versatile enough to be used in a variety of situations. I prefer running this coverage out of formations with at least five defensive backs, such as Nickel, 4-3-5, or Dime.
Here's how to run Cover 2 Man at its best:
Press Coverage: After selecting Cover 2 Man, press wire/triangle and push down on the left stick to ensure your cornerbacks are in press coverage. This will give you better jam and bump opportunities against wide receivers.
Shade Your Coverage: To help prevent wide receivers from breaking free, you can shade your coverage by pressing wire/triangle and adjusting with the right stick to shade outside or inside, depending on the route you expect.
User Control: A key part of executing Cover 2 Man is controlling the user player. It's important to be aware of who you're manning up against. For example, if the offense has a halfback out on a route, stay with him. If he blocks, you have more freedom to roam the middle of the field or even take control of a safety to cover deeper routes.
Two-Man Pass Rush: Pair Cover 2 Man with a two-man pass rush to apply consistent pressure while maintaining solid coverage. You can zone out one of the defensive ends (e.g., setting him in a hard flat) and add a QB spy to help keep the quarterback contained.
Cover 2 Man is a solid go-to for long-distance passing situations like third-and-15 or fourth-and-long, especially when combined with a strong pass rush and user adjustments.
2. Cover 4: Protect the Seams
Cover 4 is another defensive coverage that should be in every player's playbook. It's a pure zone defense that excels in defending the deep middle of the field and plays well against the run. Here's how to run Cover 4 effectively:
Press Coverage: Just like with Cover 2 Man, press wire/triangle and adjust the coverage by pushing down on the left stick to get better control of your defensive backs.
Safety Adjustments: The key to making Cover 4 even more effective is adjusting your safeties. Press the right stick in, then adjust the depth and width of the safeties to bring them closer to the line of scrimmage, helping to protect the middle and seams. This adjustment is critical when defending post routes or crossing routes.
Run Defense: Cover 4 also helps in run defense, especially when paired with a safety in a downhill position. By adjusting the safety depth, you can make sure he is in a better position to stop any runs that come his way.
3. Tampa 2: Classic Defense with Adjustments
Tampa 2 is a classic defensive coverage that's been a staple in video game football for years. While it's effective in certain situations, there are some adjustments you can make to optimize its use.
Use in Short Yardage Situations: Tampa 2 is great for defending against short-yardage passes (e.g., fourth-and-one, third-and-three). To enhance its effectiveness, shade your coverage underneath and ensure your middle linebacker is keying on routes in the short-to-intermediate range.
Coverage Adjustments: If you're facing deep routes or routes attacking the seams, Tampa 2 might leave you vulnerable. You can prevent big plays by making sure you shade your coverage underneath and pay attention to the middle of the field with your user.
Zone Drops for Long Passes: For long-distance situations (third-and-long or fourth-and-long), you can adjust your zone drops to cover the first-down marker. Set your flats to 15 yards and your hooks to 10 yards to prevent easy yardage.
Tampa 2 is a solid base defense when you know your opponent will rely on quick, short passes or when facing a short-yardage situation.
4. Cover 3 Cloud: A Hybrid Coverage
Cover 3 Cloud is a hybrid coverage that blends the best parts of Tampa 2 and traditional Cover 3, making it a fantastic coverage to use across different situations. Here's how to run it effectively:
Formation Flexibility: Cover 3 Cloud can be run from a variety of defensive sets, such as Nickel, 4-3, or Dime, and it provides excellent coverage for deep routes while still offering decent protection against the run.
Outside Third Safety: In Cover 3 Cloud, one of the key adjustments is that the high safety is in an outside third, which allows it to better cover corner routes while still protecting against bombs deep down the field. This setup improves the coverage on outside routes compared to buy College Football 26 Coins traditional Cover 3.
