Hey there, friends! Today I would like to touch upon this crucial subject. Didn't you guys never play those games where you were someone else, like a superhero or a princess? It is really easy to enjoy just revisiting and hanging out in imaginary universes in your head. Playing these games can have some not-so-great effects on things in your real life though…. Here are a few reasons to learn why these games may be useful now is a great time to step away and try and kill it in the real life games.

The problem with traveling down the rabbit hole of make believe

The longer we act like someone else, the more we may lose touch with us. But that is like we disappear into a fantasy world and then can not come back to the reality. This can make it difficult to remember what sets us apart. This insight might lead us to assume that the world of pretence is more real than the world in which we really live— and that is no way to exist.

Real life rpg: How video games impact on your reality

Do you ever feel like after playing a   Role Play Games   for x number of hours, it becomes difficult for you to adjust back into real life that quickly? And it is no wonder why — our brains get used to living in the land of make believe, where anything can happen. However, when we live in reality, we have to adhere to rules and take action for real issues. This is hard to do when we have been running away into pretend land for too long.

Now Playing: When you should stop dressing up and pretending.

We have lots of fun playing make-believe, but it is great to remember that real life is pretty cool too. We have good people to be with, activities and games to do over here in the present. While we are too busy playing our role play games, we miss the fun and excitement of an adventure in our own lives. So perhaps it's time to retire the costumes and see some neat stuff that can be done without them.

Role Play Games   and their effect on mental health.

Fun Fact: Doing too much play in fake realms can actually wear out brains! Dreams can become a nightmare if they always take us away from the here and now. This can result in depression, anxiety or feeling completely lost. So we have to balance our pretend play with other activities that keep us grounded and mentally healthy.

The Pretend And The Present How To Live In It

Based on this, what we should do to live our best lives at this moment. The answer is simple. All we have to do is trade in our costumes for our precious amazing selves. We can be present to the virtual world without spinning in it, so that we feel more recognized and secure, better able to handle whatever comes because its based on the real-world awesomeness out there. And with RISEN in hand, we can forget about playing pretend for a little while and say hello to the real adventures that are waiting for us here.

Overall,   Role Play Games  can be a fun way to interact and using our imagination, but we also have to remember that if in excess it becomes harmful with real-life consequences. Thus, we can feel a lot more grounded, connected and happy just by taking a break from this game (the Matrix) and start our journey of living in the present. Put the costumes back in their drawers, bring on all our awesomeness and open arms to every exciting thing in the here and now. When RISEN leads, we can be fulfilling our best potential and giving 100% each time.
