It appears that Madden NFL 25 is looking to increase

The publisher has posted a brief interview with Turmell to confirm his new job and stated that it was seeking to "impact and enhance the instant-to-moment football gameplay of players from Mut 25 coins as well as NCAA." The interview also answered the obvious question of how Turmell's experiences working on arcade-style games with a high-end feel can be applied to more realistic pigskin simulations.

"I have been focusing on arcade games and sports over the past 17 years. And even although they're not traditional sims they have a wealth of lessons to be learned that can be applied to sim-based titles," Turmell said. "Including how to communicate rules or situations to players, methods to make it more enjoyable to play and pick up and how to make moves more effective and engaging as well as the overall pace of games to ensure that players are engaged. The market and the players are evolving rapidly and, often, our clients are seeking an easier, faster experience...I am a fan of arcade games, but definitely understand the differences and needs for sim games."

This week the unconfirmed ESPN report claimed that Turmell being recruited by EA Sports to help revive his NBA Jam franchise at the publisher's Vancouver studio. This isn't confirmed however, the idea of an eventual revival wasn't mentioned in the interview with Turmell during the interview.
