Diablo 4 Warlock one-button build details at U4GM
Some Diablo 4 builds ask you to watch cooldowns, stack buffs and hit three or four buttons before the real fight even begins. The Season 15 Hellhound Warlock takes a different route. With the right Diablo 4 Items in place, you can mount the Hellhound, point it towards the next pack and let the build do much of the heavy lifting. It is not designed around perfect Pit records. It is built for fast, repeatable farming, which makes a big difference when you are running the same activity for hours. On the PTR, players have reported Torment 12 clears in about a minute, with some Pit runs landing in the 60 to 90 second range. The numbers are impressive, but the smooth playstyle is what makes this setup worth watching.
Why Command Abodian Carries the Build
Command Abodian is the centre of the setup. Once you activate it, the Warlock mounts the Hellhound and gains a large movement boost. The companion then launches Hellfire skulls, Blazing Scream, Bombardment and other fire-based effects while you steer through the area. That is the main appeal. You are not stopping every few seconds to refresh a long skill sequence. You are moving, choosing targets and using Teleport when a quick change of position is needed. The build feels closer to guiding a fast-moving weapon than playing a traditional caster. It also keeps the screen easier to read than some Apocalypse variants, which matters during long farming sessions when visual clutter starts to wear you down.
Gear, Defences and Stat Priorities
Hellhound's Sabatons are the item everything else is built around. They raise Abodian's power by roughly 80% to 100% and keep the fire-chain effect active after you leave the mount. The Dominance Rune helps remove cooldown pressure, so the main ability comes back more often. Leoric's Crown supplies a strong layer of protection, while Diabolical Armor lets the Warlock stay in demon form during mounted combat and adds more resistance. Runic Gloves of Ignition support the volatile side of the build, turning skill use into another source of fire-based pressure. The Grandfather is a strong weapon choice for critical scaling, though Fist of Fate can fill the slot if that is what you have available. Wendigo Band adds life and kill-based power, and Finger Wreath of Scorching Heat rewards high fire resistance. That last detail is easy to miss. Fire resistance is not just defensive here; it also improves your offensive result. Movement speed, critical damage and cooldown reduction should sit near the top of your priority list, but do not sacrifice toughness just to chase a larger number.
Skills, Paragon and the Farming Loop
The active setup stays deliberately small. Command Abodian does most of the work, with Bombardment and Blazing Scream adding more pressure as you move. Dark Prison helps with Fortification and can apply Weaken through the chain aura, while Sigil of Chaos gives you another mobility tool and useful protection during awkward encounters. The Paragon boards follow the same idea. Altar supports core scaling, Demonic Spikes improves triggered demon skills, Ritualism adds movement and class synergy, and Hellforge strengthens Hellfire effects. Pyro helps when enemies are still at full health. In practice, the loop is simple: cast Command Abodian, ride through the pack, use Teleport during downtime, then mount again as soon as the ability returns. Underneath that simple input, the interactions are busy. Demon attacks activate Hellfire effects, Hellfire creates volatility, and volatility leads to more damage events. You feel the result without having to manage each step yourself.
Where the Build Fits Best
This Warlock shines in content where travel time matters as much as raw power. Infernal Hordes are a natural match because you can keep moving while waves disappear around you. Helltides also feel good, especially when events are spread across the zone and you want to cover ground quickly. Nightmare Dungeons benefit from the same pace, making glyph progression less tiring than it can be with a slower build. Torment 12 should be comfortable once the core pieces are assembled, and the PTR version has also shown enough strength for Pit tiers around 120 to 130. Higher tiers may be possible with better rolls and tighter optimisation, but pushing the highest Pit level is not the main reason to choose this setup. Its strength is consistency. You clear, collect, reset and go again without a complicated rotation getting in the way. Keep in mind that PTR values can change before launch. The huge damage figures may be reduced, and Wendigo Band has also been linked to a visual health display issue. The build can still remain useful if its raw numbers come down, because its speed and low-input design are doing much of the work.
Final Thoughts
The Hellhound Warlock offers a relaxed way to handle endgame farming without feeling weak or painfully slow. Start with Hellhound's Sabatons, then build around fire resistance, movement speed, critical damage and enough defence to stay mounted and moving. Do not rush to perfect every slot. A working version is more valuable than a half-finished setup loaded with expensive upgrades. Save your resources for pieces that support Abodian directly, and consider Diablo IV Gold for sale only when it fits your upgrade plan rather than draining your budget on short-term replacements. Once the core equipment is ready, the play pattern is refreshingly clear: mount, steer, burn through the pack and keep moving.
