When you are in the market for an ESD workbench, it can be difficult to decide which one to get. Three of the most popular work bench types are laminate, stainless steel and phenolic. For now, we take a peak on these three models of ESD workbenches to assist you in making a decision.

Laminate workbenches are inexpensive and available in a vast array of colors and styles. They don't last as long as  esd assembly table  work benches may last though. They can scratch and damage more readily. Stainless steel workbenches are extremely durable and easy to clean but can be more expensive than a laminate workbench. Phenolic workbenches are strong and more resistant than a lot of materials to chemicals, wear and moisture, so they are great in certain places, although they are also more expensive than laminate workbenches.

All three styles of workbenches can be grounded to protect against static electricity, but they do so in different ways. Laminates are not as conductive when it comes to electricity, so it may not guard against the impact of static as well as with stainless steel or phenolic workbenches.  esd table cover  conduct electricity at very high levels and provide excellent ESD containment. The phenolic workbenches have a lower conductivity than stainless steel, but they still offer a good protection.

There are some considerations to take into account when you start thinking about laminate,  esd table cost  of the workbench counts laminate workbenches probably won’t be as durable as stainless steel or phenolic ones. Cleaning is also a consideration stainless steel workbenches are a breeze to clean, laminate work benches may require more effort to keep clean. How much the workbench resists chemicals and moisture is important, too phenolic workbenches are the best for this; they’re a great option for some types of work.

In short, when selecting an ESD workbench for yourself, consider a few things. Laminate workbenches are inexpensive and available in a variety of styles but then again, they may not last long. Stainless steel benches are very sturdy and provide excellent ESD protection but they are costly. Phenolic workbenches are chemical and moisture resistant and can be a good fit for certain settings, though they can also be more expensive. Reflect on what to consider in choosing the appropriate ESD workbench for you.
