Chasing the 99 OVR Freddy Peralta Start with the 2026 Postseason collection, not the Guardians vs. Rays program. Peralta unlocks at 38 eligible cards. The no-purchase path uses 36 player cards from ten postseason programs, plus the Munetaka Murakami and Jake Bauers collection rewards. This card represents Peralta's Tampa Bay ALCS MVP run, but it's separate from his Live Series and New Threads versions. If you're planning your Diamond Dynasty roster, MLB 26 stubs are a separate option; they aren't required for this collection.

Track the collection checkpoints

Open the 2026 Postseason collection under Legends and Flashbacks, then check each card's series label before collecting it. At 27 cards, claim Murakami; at 32, claim Bauers; at 38, Peralta becomes available. Make sure to collect each reward after claiming it, since program progress and collection progress don't update in the same way. The card list was updated on October 20, 2026, so an older card version may not count even if it shows the right player's name.

Compare the card routes

Here's the card count at a glance: Wild Card has 13 players across four programs; Division Series adds 14 across four programs; Dodgers vs. Brewers offers four cards at 50 points; Guardians vs. Rays offers five at 50 points. That's 36 program players before the two collection rewards. For the Guardians vs. Rays program, four missions can cover all 50 points: nine strikeouts with Guardians players, four innings pitched with Rays players, 2,026 PXP with either team, and 2,026 PXP with 2026 Postseason players. Those missions award 10, 10, 10, and 20 points. Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, Conquest, and Diamond Quest are offline choices. Moments can help earn the first player cards if you still need eligible players.

Read the ratings, then mix your pitches

Peralta's right-handed starter card has 110 stamina, 125 pitching clutch, 116 H/9, 109 K/9, 108 BB/9, 91 velocity, 99 control, and 99 break. His H/9 is 120 against right-handed hitters and 111 against lefties; K/9 is 109 against both. The five-pitch mix includes a 97 mph four-seamer, an 88 mph circle change, a 12-6 curve, a sweeper, and a slider. Change speeds and locations rather than leaning on the fastball every count. Watch energy and command as the outing goes on. The card's quirks don't make fatigue disappear.

Check the card before you collect

Collection cards become No Sell, so confirm the exact 2026 Postseason version before locking one in. Don't count Peralta toward the 38 cards needed to unlock him, and don't mistake the final Guardians vs. Rays program card for the separate collection reward. Diamond Dynasty cards aren't Road to the Show upgrades, and event eligibility can vary by ruleset. If you're considering other roster plans, MLB 26 stubs for sale can be weighed separately; they don't change the collection checkpoints.
